Siemens Flame Detector QRA10 / QRA5x / QRA7x Series

Siemens QRA10, QRA5x and QRA7x Series are ultraviolet (UV) flame detectors designed for monitoring gas and oil flames in industrial combustion systems. They operate with compatible Siemens burner controls to provide flame detection signals for burner safety and combustion control applications.

These detectors use UV-sensitive cells operating within the 190–270 nm wavelength range. They are designed to monitor gas flames, yellow- or blue-burning oil flames, and ignition sparks. Typical applications include industrial boilers, furnaces and industrial heating systems.

Product Series Overview

Siemens QRA10 Series

The QRA10 Series is designed for intermittent flame supervision. It features a die-cast aluminum housing with a bayonet-type mounting arrangement and cooling-air connection. Optional accessories support installation, viewing-angle adjustment and thermal protection.

Siemens QRA5x Series

The QRA5x Series includes QRA53 and QRA55 flame detectors. These models are designed for continuous operation with Siemens LGK16 and LGI16 burner controls. They feature motor-driven shutters and are available in normal- and high-sensitivity versions.

Siemens QRA7x Series

The QRA7x Series includes QRA73 and QRA75 detectors. These models support continuous flame supervision with Siemens LMV5 and LME75 burner controls. They incorporate a motor-driven shutter mechanism and integrated shutter-control electronics.
