Siemens Photocell Detector RAR Series

Siemens RAR Series photocell flame detectors are designed for monitoring yellow-burning oil flames in industrial burner applications. They are particularly suitable for large-capacity oil burners and industrial boiler systems.

The detectors use a silicon photocell to sense visible light radiation emitted by an oil flame. When illuminated, the photocell generates a DC voltage and produces a current signal that is transmitted to the flame signal amplifier of the associated burner control.
